ICPE Participation in the 6th Meeting of the Asian Network on Corporate Governance of State-owned Enterprises on 17-18 May 2011,Seoul, South Korea

By the invitation of OECD, Mr Drasko Nikolic, ICPE Researcher actively participated in the 6^th meeting of the the Asian Network on Corporate Governance of State-owned Enterprises.

The meeting was held in Seoul, South Korea on 17-18 May 2011 and it was organized jointly by OECD and Korean Institute of Public Finance, with the support of Government of Korea.

Representatives from ministries and institutions involved in state property and SOE management has discussed and debated on several topics like: SOE governance reform - experiences and prospects, Progress in implementing reform priorities according to the Policy Brief, Competitive Neutrality: promoting efficient competition between SOEs and private businesses, Corporate Governance of State Owned Commercial Banks, Evaluating Performance of SOE Boards etc.

Mr Nikolic used this opportunity to invite distinguished representatives from Asian authorities to participate at the High Level Meeting of the State Ownership Authorities to be held in Slovenia, Ljubljana on 5-6 September 2011.
