Visit of Mr. Hasanov, Charge d'affaires of the Republic of Azerbaijan

Mr. Emil Hasanov, Charge d'affaires of the Republic of Azerbaijan, visited ICPE. Dr. Šalej presented Mr. Hasanov the history of ICPE and its current activities, he also suggested potential fields of collaboration with Azerbaijan – education, development of micro and small business and monitoring of the state policy, namely efficient management of public assets. Mr. Hasanov emphasized that the Government of Azerbaijan has a good relationship with Slovenia and that ICPE was recommended to from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia. Azerbaijan is, as he claimed, interested in taking part of alredy existing education programmes of ICPE, and some others. Dr. Šalej invited Azerbaijan to become ICPE's Member State, both discussants agreed that the best way to start mutual collaboration is through training programmes, while exploring other fields of possible mutual interests.
