Dr R K Mishra lecture on "Economic reforms in India"

Dr R K Mishra, Director of Institute of Public Enterprises and a Visiting Lecturer at ICPE/FELU International MBA, held a lecture on “Economic Reforms in India”, organized by International Center for Promotion of Enterprises (ICPE) and Research Centre of Faculty of Economics (FELU).

Dr Mishra presented the historical course of economic reforms in India, which brought India to becoming one of the leading world economies. Dr Mishra explained that the main factors, contributing to a rapid growth of Indian economy, lie in the public sector, trade and industrial policy reforms. However, Dr Mishra also pointed out several challenges, incl. demographic, infrastructure and health issues, and stressed the need for a closer cooperation between India and Slovenia on these issues.
