2011 High Level Meeting of the State Ownership Authorities: State as an owner – ownership policy, execution of state interests and fostering of public-private dialogue

5 - 6 September 2011, Ljubljana, Slovenia

At the Meeting, representatives from the Ministries, governmental organizations and agencies responsible for governance of Public Sector Enterprises and representatives of multilateral international organizations will present Models of State Ownership policies and governance systems and their perspectives on topics. After presentations, discussions will follow in order to exchange best practices and experiences.

As you may know, ICPE has a distinguished history of debate and addressing issues regarding Public Sector Enterprises. With the Meeting we are striving to broaden that process so as to better reflect the ideas and opinions of different countries on the themes below:

•           State ownership policy, execution of state interests

•           Fostering of public-private dialogue

The proceedings and conclusion will be printed in Public Enterprise Quarterly Journal.
