ICPE has attended the meeting of Slovenian and Macedonian Economists with presidents Dr Danilo Türk and Dr Gjorge Ivanov

Ambassador Zvone Dragan, Special Advisor to ICPE DG and Aleksandar Zdravković, ICPE Researcher attended the Meeting of Slovenian and Macedonian Economists with presidents Dr Danilo Türk and Dr Gjorge Ivanov, held in Congress Center Brdo pri Kranju on 16 February 2011.

President Türk stressed deep understanding and cultural interconnections between Slovenian and Macedonian people and pointed trade exchange and mobility in the area of education as the indicators of good cooperation between Slovenia and Macedonia, which is also a member state of ICPE. President Ivanov stressed growing presence of Slovenian investors in previous two years and their successful acting in Macedonian market, stating that among Macedonian citizens Slovenian products are perceived with highest quality. Both presidents emphasized importance of diminishing large existing imbalance trade exchange.

ICPE delegetion met Deputy Secretary General of the President Office of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Luben Arnaudovski, and new ambassador of the Republic of Macedonia, HE Igor Popov, and discuss the opportunities for further triangular cooperation between ICPE and Slovenian and Macedonian governments.
