ICPE and SDBP cooperation

Wednesday, 20 February 2013 Mr Janez Podobnik, ICPE Acting Director General, and Mr Cees WM Nieboer, President of the International Business Platform of Slovenia, have signed the Memorandum of Understanding between ICPE and SDBP.

SDBP is an independent, non-profit association established to provide a basis for developing and expanding international business relations in Slovenia with which ICPE has established close and mutually beneficial relation, and particularly with its Ambassador Mr Tičo Zupančič.

The MoU aims to strengthen cooperation on areas and projects in the common interest and expertise of both ICPE and SDBP, namely in the domain of business and management, including innovation, knowledge and environmental management, economic, technological, entrepreneurship and social development, sustainable development, public administration, and intercultural studies.

Furthermore, in the follow-up meeting that was held yesterday, 12 March 2013 representatives of ICPE and SDBP have already agreed on concrete projects to participate in and exchange of expertise, among which the ICPE International Conference on Economic Diplomacy to be held this June, SDBP Cafés International, the Africa Day, Green Will project as well as to join efforts in applying for the EU projects. Importantly, apart from joining efforts between ICPE and SDBP, strong synergies are indicated with other partners and network members of both organisations that consequently lead to significant increase of added-value and benefits to members and networks of both organisations.
