Mr Janez Podobnik, Acting Director General of ICPE met with dr. Negoslav Ostojić, Executive Director of ECPD in Belgrade on April 6

On April 6 the meeting between ICPE Acting DG Mr Podobnik and ECPD Executive Director dr. Ostojić took place in Belgrade. During a longer discussion they have examined in detail the Memorandum of Understanding, signed by both parties on May 20, 2010.

Their conclusion was that the MoU is a good basis for even more active cooperation between both International institutions. In the last two years most of the common work was shared in ICAM projects, which have been introduced at the International ICAM Conference in November 2010 in Ljubljana, where the co-organizer was the International ECPD Institute for Sustainable development.

Future cooperation is most promising in the field of Joint MBA Study Programmes, co-hosting of expert meetings in the field of sustainable development and especially in the implementation of the new EU Danube strategy.

Mr. Podobnik and dr. Ostojić agreed to prepare an operative program for cooperation between ICPE and ECPD for 2012 and 2013, which will be confirmed at the next meeting in May 2012.
