ICPE COUNCIL AND ASSEMBLY SESSIONS - 7 April 2015

On 7 April 2015 the 8th Joint Session of the Program Advisory Group and of the Committee on Finance, Accounts and Staffing, the 54th ICPE Council Session and the 18th ICPE Assembly Session were held at the ICPE headquarters.

The ICPE Acting Director General, Janez Podobnik, presented the Activity Report for the period between June 2013 and March 2015. The ICPE Assembly honorably discharged Acting Director General Podobnik of his duty and commended him for the achievements during his mandate.

A new ICPE Director General, Dr. Anand Asthana, was elected by the ICPE Assembly for a four-year term. Acting Director General Janez Podobnik will continue his duties as Acting Director General until the finalizing of the formal procedures of taking up the post by the newly elected Director General.
