The highest decoration by the Peruvian Government for the organization of the EU-LAC Summit

The Ambassador of Peru to the Republic of Slovenia, Mr Antonio García Revilla,  decorated Dr Štefan Bogdan Šalej, Director General of the International Center for promotion of Enterprises (ICPE) on behalf of Peruvian government with the order of “The Sun of Peru”, in the grade of Great Cross, which represents the highest recognition for citizens awarded by the Peruvian Government. Dr. Šalej was awarded for his extraordinary contribution to the organization of the EU-LAC (Latin America and Carribean) Summit held in Lima, Peru, in 2008. The EU-LAC Summit represents the main event during EU presidency and was attended by 60 highest representatives of the EU and Latin American governments.
