ICPE at Azerbaijani – Slovenian Business Conference, 10 June 2011, Ljubljana, Slovenia

Executive Manager Mr Tomaz Rogelj attended the Azerbaijani – Slovenian Business Conference in Ljubljana on June 10, 2011. The conference was hosted by Slovenian president Dr Danilo Türk; also present was the president of Azerbaijan Mr Ilham Aliyev. The forum has brought together 200 delegates and bilateral business meetings were organized as part of the forum.

Following the conference Mr T. Rogelj met with Mr Azer Balamedov of Meridian-TK LLC to discus possibilities of establishing co-operation with Azerbajdzani institutions in the field of training.

Meridian-TK LLC cooperates with state institutions in Azerbaijani including The Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and The State Students Admission Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The company is part of an Olefin Institute. They are keen to develop study programs for Azerbajdjani participants abroad.

Mr A. Balamedov expressed interest for the training programs conducted by ICPE. He believes that the programs are well designed and that there is sufficient demand for such courses in Azerbaijan.

Both partners agreed to start cooperation in the field of training and that information will be provided to the Azerbaijani officials about ICPE in order to enable potential future participation of Azerbaijan in the Centre.
