Slovenian Foreign Minister Confirms Participation at the ICPE New Commercial Diplomacy Seminar

H.E. Mr Samuel Žbogar, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia has confirmed his participation at the ICPE seminar on The New Commercial Diplomacy: 'Open the Door to a Trade and Investment Driven Recovery', to be held from 15 to 17 November 2009 at its headquarters in Ljubljana.

What can you do to support foreign companies interested in investing or trading with your country in order to create jobs and promote transfer of technology? And how can you promote domestic enterprises interested in investing abroad or trading with foreign partners?

The International Center for Promotion of Enterprises (ICPE), FT Business and fDi Intelligence kindly invite you to participate in the upcoming international seminar  ‘The New Commercial Diplomacy: Open the Door to a Trade and Investment Driven Recovery’ to be held at the ICPE in Ljubljana from 15 to 17 November 2009.

Guided by leading international experts and practitioners, the seminar will address current challenges and opportunities faced by participants from businesses, governments, chambers of commerce, trade and investment promotion agencies and other stakeholders as they seek to upgrade their commercial policies and skills to make their countries more attractive for foreign investors and to gain better access to foreign markets. The participants will explore innovative ways of overcoming the most common challenges and will take a close look at current best practices in the field.

The seminar, aimed at participants from Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe, as well as member states of the Eastern Partnership, is designed to be highly interactive and participants are expected to submit a brief paper outlining an example of their own good practices or of a major challenge they may be facing.
