DG Dr Šalej and Slovenian Foreign Minister Samuel Žbogar Discuss Joint Projects
ICPE Director-General Dr Štefan Bogdan Šalej met with H.E. Mr Samuel Žbogar, Minister of Foreign Affiars of the Republic of Slovenia to explore ways of further strengthening mutual cooperation to address common challenges.
The two agreed on the important role of Slovenia as the ICPE's host country and one of its most active members and discussed a wide range of issues of common interest, including capacity building in the area of climate change, transfer of technology and cooperation with the UN and other international organizations.
Minister Žbogar expressed Slovenia's commitment to enhancing its activities in the area of economic and business diplomacy and confirmed his participation at the upcoming ICPE international seminar 'The New Commercial Diplomacy' to be held at the ICPE's headquarters in Ljubljana from 15 to 17 November 2009.
