ICPE held a meeting with Mrs Olufunso Amosun, founder of Uplift Development Foundation, Ogun State, Nigeria

On Saturday, 24 August 2013, Mr Janez Podobnik, ICPE Acting Director General and Mr Tomaž Rogelj, ICPE Executive Manager met with Mrs Olufunso Amosun,  the founder of the Uplift Development Foundation and the First Lady of Ogun State in Udine, Italy. Mrs Amosun was visiting Udine in order to monitor 22 Nigerian young football players, who arrived to Italian Football Club Udinese under the auspices of the Foundation.

The highlights of the short working meeting were topics that have already been opened at the first official meeting in April 2013 in Abeokuta on the occasion of the International conference “Nigeria going green”, co-organised by ICPE.

Mrs Amosun expressed an interest for participation of Ogun State students in the regenerated International postgraduate MBA programme and cooperation with the Slovenian faculties. She also proposed to design a business model for employment of youngsters in the field of waste management.

As a follow-up, ICPE invited representatives of Ogun State to "Slovenia Nigeria Business Seminar" to be held on September 25, 2013 in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
